Join our team at the BRAND new Aquatics and Fitness Center as a Membership Desk Team Member and be a vital part of our welcoming and energetic environment.
Our fitness center is in it's infancy stage and we are looking to hire all staff positions from membership desk to personal trainer to fitness instructors to water instructors to child care sitters and life guards.
The fitness center opened January 2023, 19k sq feet, all inclusive with group fitness classes, pools, orientations with trainers, and child care coming!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and guiding prospective members through the sign-up process.
- Effectively communicate membership options, benefits, and pricing to potential new members.
- Handle membership registrations, cancellations, and renewals with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace while ensuring the membership desk area is clean and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and cohesive member experience.
- Assist in coordinating fitness facility tours and ensuring visitors feel comfortable and valued during their visit.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a fitness or wellness environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge and enthusiasm for fitness programs and equipment offered at the facility.
- Ability to multitask and handle busy periods with poise and efficiency.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and point-of-sale systems.
