Key
Responsibilities:
Production support and life cycle management for various systems used by Research IT.
Maintainand develop run book documentation, end user support documentation, and release documentation.
Responsible for managing technology assets, ensuring they are reliable, accessible, and secure.
Participates in operational activities such as maintenance and break-fix releases, security assessments, risk assessments, incident response, provisioning of user accounts, etc.
Ability to understand, prioritize, and communicate IT needs to our business colleagues and stakeholders.
Supports enhancement releases and upgrades, including requirement gather, and testing.
Identifies and/or supports continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications &
Experience:
Requires basic knowledge and technical skills typically gained through a university degree and minimal relevant prior experience or HS diploma/technical school and relevant certifications plus 2 years of directly relevant experience.
Familiarity with scientific data formats, data preprocessing, and analysis methodologies.
Experience with querying and managing data using SQL or similar database technologies.
Familiar with AWS DevOps, Cloud deployment, automation, and infrastructure management.
Makes basic decisions requiring limited judgment and using established procedures and methodologies.
Work is done under close supervision.
Responsible for supporting Functional team members and performing basic tasks with some oversight.
Collaborates and works with stakeholders to meet requests.
Explains own work clearly and explains any independent judgement well.
Understanding of functional business context and how their work may apply.
Demonstrates openness to learning and developing.
Takes a responsibility for their own development and growth.
Understands the team's performance and how their work may impact the team goal.

#LI-HybridThe starting compensation for this job is a range from$60,000 - $84,000,plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
