Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, and restrooms - Assist with bussing tables and resetting tables for the next customer.
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers.
Skills:
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system or similar restaurant point-of-sale software.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote special offers.
- Previous experience in the food service industry is a must.
